A 24-hour touchless wash is a schedule, not a live status

How to use published wash hours without mistaking them for guaranteed machine availability.

Compiled by Find a Touchless Car Wash from linked operator sources. Reviewed 25 October 2026.

“24-hour touchless car wash” usually describes normal operating hours. It does not establish whether a particular machine is running right now, whether an attendant is there or whether weather restrictions apply.

A real exception in the Colorado records

Autowash’s chain FAQ says automatic bays shut down at 20°F. Its published 24-hour schedule therefore needs that qualification. We carry the exception on the relevant listings instead of showing an unsupported “open now” badge.

Different services can have different hours

Damen publishes 24-hour touchless/self-serve service but shorter tunnel hours. Spotless Roosevelt Road publishes daily bay hours and a separate attendant timetable. Neither example supports assuming that staff are available whenever a bay is operating.

Before a late-night or cold-weather trip

  • Check the hours for the exact bay or service.
  • Read the operator’s weather and vehicle restrictions.
  • Confirm current operation if the trip is long or conditions are unusual.
  • Use posted signs at the location; a directory cannot override them.

The 24-hour filter shows published normal hours only. It does not query a live outage feed.

Put it into practice.

Look at the bay type, normal hours and unknowns on each record before you set off.
