Search and saved places
Directory filtering runs in your browser. Search terms appear in the page URL so you can bookmark a search. Your saved list uses local storage on this browser and is not uploaded. If you allow analytics, individual save and remove actions can include the public listing identifier. Use “Clear saved places” to remove them. A search URL may appear in your browser history and, once hosted, in ordinary hosting request logs.
External links
Operator websites and Google Maps have their own privacy practices. Opening those links takes you to a separate service. If you choose Use my location, your browser asks for permission. Coordinates are used only in memory in this tab to estimate straight-line distances. They are not stored in a URL, sent to our server or included in Analytics. Clear location removes the current origin. Manual search centres are approximate centres of sourced listing pins, not official geographic centroids.
Analytics and advertising
Optional Google Analytics is available only after you choose Allow analytics. Our custom events measure feature use, result counts and public listing identifiers. We exclude search text, URL query strings and precise coordinates from those events. Google may process browser and network information and set analytics cookies after permission. Declining leaves the directory usable; change your choice using Analytics preferences. Consent-based analytics will not count every visitor. This site has no advertising trackers. The optional map loads only when you choose Show map. Leaflet is served locally; map images come directly from OpenStreetMap, which receives your network address, the visible tile requests and this site’s origin as the referrer. Your search text and exact device coordinates are not included in those requests. The visible map area can reveal a general area of interest. Maps are best-effort; list search and external directions remain available if tiles fail. Hosting providers may process technical request information, including requested URLs, when the site is deployed.
Corrections
The submission form uploads the selected public listing, suggested change, source URL and receipt timestamp to private Vercel storage. No email is sent, no reply address is requested, and submissions are not published automatically. Do not include private personal information. The publisher reviews the queue; there is no urgent-response guarantee. Pending and resolved reports are scheduled for deletion after 90 days; minimal source/decision records may be retained for editorial accountability. Hosting may process normal technical request information. Contact the named publisher for access or deletion requests using the public contact details on the Contact page.
